  2. Hold two backup mornings
  3. Confirm passenger and landing rules

02 · WHO TO CALL / WHAT TO ASK

  1. Commercial balloon operator
  2. Your least sleep-dependent accomplice
  3. Ground transport backup

THE LITTLE BLACK BOOK

Handler intel.

The part ordinary travel sites do not know—or do not say.
  1. THE OPENING LINE · Tell commercial balloon operator you have a real budget, flexible timing, and want the version they would arrange for a favorite client—not the default package.
  2. THE LEVERAGE · Offer two mornings and ask the pilot which has the cleanest forecast. Flexibility buys more than pressure ever will.
  3. THE MONEY TRAP · Ask for the all-in passenger price, weight rules, airport or landing fees, weather rebooking terms, and whether photos cost extra.
  4. THE HANDLER MOVE · Ask, “If this were for someone you wanted to impress, what would you change?” Then stop talking and take notes.

03 · BRING THIS

  1. Closed-toe shoes
  2. Warm layer
  3. Flexible schedule
HEADS UPBallooning is extremely weather-sensitive. A cautious cancellation is a feature, not a failure.
